I found on github an ESP firmware who turn it on a Milight bridge + ledstrip controller for pwm led strip. I'm back with new battery and a real TSOP4838 (on previous test i use a HSIR38S2 stolen from an old hifi parts)...

Made some test with ans without box, and with 2 differents IR reciever results are the same, to much false code to be usable.
Maybe a learning méthode have to be done like LIRC do (only the first part), just to reconize which protocole have to be use.

Can be usefull for amp without HDMI cec, who need to be set ON when TV plug is set on.
Best of this will be a MQTT payload with hex code on it, this way IR sender is just a sender all HEX code are on domoticz device.

With Domoticz, on device mode (under hardware section) select rgbw. But : Have you made the change on milight.lua file to make it run for rgbw order ? (http://www.limitlessled.com/dev/) ? They are not the same as the one on the initial file. Have you made the change to add a pwm channel for white ? ...

60 min later i'm back, and please to say that Sticilface made a great job ! Of course that a bit slower on running effect, but impressive, it made all that i plan to do....and i will take 3 years to made it... Actually i run it on a Wemos mini d1 + 15 pixel direct plug on it (5v gnd and data) and us...

Once your upload is down did you remove gpio0 from gnd ?
As Martinus already say by the past, the price differences between an esp12e nude and a dev board like nodemcu or wemos is so minime, and you win a lot of comfort with.

On my side : Dont want ans cant't put long led strip. I already got some ws2801 and now ws2812b juste want to recycle them (fedup buying again and again). Easy to powerup : only 5v and my max pixel number will be 30 pcs. My wemos who provid 5v direct from USB can accepte them easily Got 1 wemos + 15...

Look at wemos mini d1 : this is an esp board on the same seize of an SD Card, working on 5v true USB, lot of gpio aviable, all inside and got a 5v output direct from USB plug.

on my side i found a great nodemcu app : This create a milight wifi rgb led strip controler. https://github.com/frizzby/esp8266-rgb-led i run it on a wemos mini d1 and just a led plug on gpio0 + gnd this made for a "classic" led strip. Maybe some one can test it on this hardware H801 Hardw...

i had some clearance of the flash with R076, it think. the arduino ide showed the end of flashing, but in the serial-monitor the erase was still running a while. check the R07x version? Downgrade to R048, than upgrade to R07x? flash first nodemcu, than flash ESPeasy after? Thanks for tips and thank...

Got one nude ESP12E who run with a 5v solar panel to charge 3*1.2v battery (recycling a garden light)
I test it for a parrot flower clone, actually it run since September, sending 1/h temp, lux, hum, and got back to deepsleep.
Of course i'm a beginner, but it work, great

Depending on which usage :
For my pulses counter and temps sensors domoticz send me a notification if value are older than 30 minutes, that mean that there is a problème.
But since i'm using wemos mini d1 board (1 Mounth now) i never get a problème ne past with sp01 it was 1 by week.

My hue bridge is working now :D I have to investigate if there is a maximum of 255 lights. I would like to use it for strips with 300 lights. Have you try with domoticz ? First i set with official iOS philips HUE app (v1.10.2) Bridge is reconize as v 0.1 & modele BSB001 i set only 1 Hue bulb and 1 groupe : reconize as Model LT001 can play with scene : Capture.JPG and after with domoticz. Juste retry with Android and chrome app : fail

@Ger : no, in fact each esp act as a hue bridge, once you set a ws2812b to gpio2, each pixel can be set as individual lamp or set on a group part. As this, this create 10 hue on domoticz. Just a thought though to keep things simple instead of multiple gateways. Is it not possible to have 1 ESP gateway with multiple ESP nodes? I don't think that the MySensors library currently supports this, or it's an undocumented feature? Maybe you have more information, since I'm totally new on My...
