RFLink RF Module defect?

Hello,
I used the RFLink 433.92Mhz for few years now, but it suddenly stopped working.
Did a reset, flashed the firmware again, reset eeprom etc.

20;03;RFDEBUG=ON;
10;rfudebug=on;
20;04;RFUDEBUG=ON;
10;PING;
20;05;PONG;
The problem is when sending a KAKU command from my remote nothing shows up in the log.
But the PING reacts with a PONG. Not clear to me if the PING is actual sending something out through RF and receiving it (PONG).
Could this mean the RF Unit has died?
