mega-20221224 and HTU21D problem

#1 Post by mackowiakp » 24 Feb 2023, 02:09

I tried to compile custom_esp8266_4M1M FW based on mega-20221224.
Unfortunately, the measurement results for the HTU21D sensor are not displayed and transferred to Domoticz.
Below screenshots for such FW.
The sensor is properly recognised by "I2C Scan" in "Tools" menu.
It works properly with the earlier version of mega but I don't remember which version it was.
Can it be somehow determined based on a compiled binary file I have? "Strings" in Linux or so?
I attach copy/paste from "Info" menu of properly working binary.

Is this using older settings from a previous build, or did you flash it to start with new settings?
If it is with settings from an older version, can you maybe delete this task and add it again? I suspect some settings may not have been transitioned properly from older builds for this specific plugin.

Another option is to disable this task and add the same task at another task index, so you can easily compare settings when needed.

Yes, I just flash new FW without doing anything with config. Will try to do as You advise.

Yes, redefining the sensor resolved the problem.
