Sonoff launches new POW equipment:
there are the GND Tx Rx Vc terminals which allow it to be flashed.
Which version of ESP Esay should we take to flash it? THANKS

Re: New Sonoff Pow "Origin"
I have just started a PR #4501 to un-hardcode the serial settings for the CSE7766 plugin (P077). (Work started just yesterday )
Once the Github Actions build is finished, you can download file Binaries.zip from here (a free Github account is required to be able to download) and install the ESP32 Energy build on these units. That build also includes plugin P148, required to use the LCD display on the (POW/TH) R3xxD Elite models.
Edit: Updated Actions build url

Re: New Sonoff Pow "Origin"
Those new Sonoff units are really nice.
They really did improve on the design and also they now use an external antenna.
So the WiFi does have a much more stable connection.
However do not replace this with an external IPEX to SMA connector, as the ground is still connected to mains, especially on those POW units.

A note for someone finding this thread:
To be able to measure the (correct) Voltage, Relay1 has to be enabled/on, as the CSE7766 is configured to measure V_out, not V_in. When the relay is off, the voltage will show between 0 and ~15V.

Re: New Sonoff Pow "Origin"
great picture, thx.
Since today I'm operating my second THR320D. Just in case you need some details the board's search might help you or others interested in it.
The 'golden line of contacts' on the PCB (I'm guessing it's designed for the display) shows SonOff is doing it like we do it at work: sell stripped functionality for a higher price

Re: New Sonoff Pow "Origin"
Yep
It looks like they even included the display driver chip on the units without display, so they only have a single board to manufacture.

Re: New Sonoff Pow "Origin"
don't know the POW version but the THR320 seems very reliable, well designed, as far as I can say with not being liable for anything
Two disadvantages:
Two disadvantages:
- it's getting a bit warm though, which suggests it's somehow wasting energy
- nothing to secure the cable to prevent the bare copper when accidentally leaving the plastic housing
