espeasy version for PZEM 004T-v3

#1 Post by edstobi » 07 Oct 2022, 16:21

Good day
I have various espeasy 8266 and 32 running. These I have fueled via the web based flasher.
now i want to connect a PZEM004Tv3. In mega 20210503sollen these are supported: [TTN] Include all 6 values for P102 PZEM004Tv3. and two years ago :Move P251 PZEM 004T-v3 from Playground to main repo.
How please can I enable this? I have for example mega-20211105_c79d675 running. How do I find out the correct version which I need to load to use PZEM.
Thanks

The PZEM plugin is included in the Energy builds.
You can download the latest release from Github, or use a more recent Github Actions build like this one.
Depending on the flash size on your unit you can use the OTA Firmware Update feature (2M flash and larger), or will have to use a serial flash option.

Via https://td-er.nl/ESPEasy/ you can also install the Energy build, and even though it's not the latest release, it should work properly for that device.

hello
I need your help once again.
I unfortunately have to replace the espeasy 8266 because the reception of WLAN in the elek. cabinet is very poor to non-existent. I would like to use WT32 ETH01. I already have some in use., However, there is apparently no image where the PZEM is included. Can someone explain or give me a page how I can put together such an image?

As you can see here: https://espeasy.readthedocs.io/en/lates ... al-plugins
It should be part of the "energy" builds.
And this one is missing an "ETH" version.

Will make one for you and at the same time commit it to the mega branch so there is one in the future :)

Here a new build for you: https://www.dropbox.com/s/i18c3tz66ftly ... y.zip?dl=0
It includes the changes I was working on yesterday, which do make a big difference in handling WiFi and Ethernet events (e.g. unplug/replug)

However, Ton did reported there might still be an issue with it when starting with WiFi and Ethernet unplugged.
It may then end up in a loop reporting:

Code: Select all

[...]
104029 : Error : ETH : DNS server was cleared, use cached DNS IP
104029 : Error : ETH : DNS server was cleared, use cached
abort() was called at PC 0x4027278a on core 1
And then a reboot.

So please let me know if you're seeing something similar.

TD-er A very big thank you! :!:
I had no luck with the ESP.Easy.Flasher.exe. Test flashing with the internet flasher worked, so WT32-ETH01 and my USB adapter are intact and connected correctly.
When I took the ESP-Flasher.exe it worked right away.
Logged into my WLAN, activated the TCP network and added the 6 PZEM-004T.
Tomorrow I will replace the environment with the existing one. No starting problems :D

PS: I noticed that you have now preconfigured the Inter-ESPEasy Network to 8266 by default

That port has been registered at IANA for use as the ESP P2P networking port. So it's official :)
