Issue with VL53L0X

#1 Post by g0ebel » 01 Jun 2022, 18:08

Hi,

I try to connect a VL53L0X (time-of-flight) sensor to ESP Easy.
In my understanding this sensor should be included in the main release since version mega-20210503 ("[P110] Move P133 VL53L0X from PluginPlayground to main repository").

I expected to see this sensor when I add a new device, but no distance sensor is shown up here in the drop down menu.

Tested with
ESP_Easy_mega_20210414_normal_ESP8266_4M1M
ESP_Easy_mega_20210503_normal_ESP8266_4M1M
ESP_Easy_mega_20220427_normal_ESP8266_4M1M

I2C scan shows
Image

What I'm doing wrong?
Many thanks for your help,

Frank

That plugin is included in the TEST_B builds, an overview, and in what build(s) they are available can be found here: https://espeasy.readthedocs.io/en/lates ... lugin.html
