Control GPIO pin via infrared.

#1 Post by hansi9990 » 11 Mar 2022, 09:24

Hello

I flashed the version ESP_Easy_mega 20211224_custom_IR_ESP32_4M316k.bin on an ESP32-WROOM-32.
I connected an IR receiver TSOP 4838 to the ESP and determined the codes of an IR remote control.
By pressing a button on the remote control I set a GPIO to high for one second with the command "LongPulse,0,1,1", but I would like the GPIO pin to remain high as long as I keep the button pressed is there a way to do something like this?

2 issues here:
1) The transmitter doesn't seem to repeat the signal (or does it?)
2) The transmitter doesn't send a signal once you release the button...
