RFLink with CC1101

#1 Post by passie » 19 Oct 2018, 21:22

Hi There,

I'm trying to connect an CC1101 with an Arduino.
I'm using the following schematics/connections, but i'm unable to get it working.

Ground = Ground
(VCC) = VCC 3.3 volt
(MOSI) = MEGA Pin 51 (using level shifter 5V to 3.3V)
(SCK) = MEGA Pin 52 (using level shifter 5V to 3.3V)
(MISO) = MEGA Pin 50 (using level shifter 5V to 3.3V)
(CS) = MEGA Pin 47 (using level shifter 5V to 3.3V)

Should I be able to use the CC1101 instead of the Aurel transceivers with RFlink ?
Is there anything incorrect with my connections (above) ?
or other.................

With regards,
Passie

The supported hardware is listed on this page: http://www.rflink.nl/blog2/wiring
There is no mention of and no support for the CC1101 at this time.

Any chance this will change in the near future, since this saves 15 euro?

On the link posted earlier there are alternatives for the Aurel transceiver..
Using an RXB6 you can build the full thing (including Arduino Mega and NRF) for less than 10 euro's!
There is no priority for CC1101 support. I rather have more devices supported and add more powerfull modules than a CC1101.
