For a friend, I have to create a RfLink Gateway for Driving a Delta Dore Thermostat (X2D 868Mhz) but I still don't know if I can start it now because of some questions :
- Should I start my project right now, and buy the only RfLink compliant tranceiver at all cost (Aurel, hard to find, and > 20€ !!!) ?
- Or I have missed it and you can already drive any 868 / FSK transceiver with RfLink, like the CC1101 ?
- Or should I have to wait for the futur new RfLink Release, which may add support for other and more "common" (and cheaper) 868Mhz transceivers ???
For details on this project : the idea is to build a X2D compliant GSM based driver, for a fraction of the price asked by DeltaDore for that. I will publish everything on Github / hackaday once it will be ready, and opensource eveything I can (so sad that RfLink is not opensource :'( … ).
I will not use a raspberry or any domotic box : I will drive the Gateway (made with a nano-mega2560 clone) directly from another MCU, through UART. Or anything else which can do it.
Thank you all for your help !
