problem with nodemcu devkit 1.0 and r39

I'm using Nodemcu devkit 1.0 (esp12e). When I flash version r20 everything works fine, but when I upload r39 I'm getting this:

I tried to erase flash with easyesptool.ino, I tried to reflash nodemcu lua firmware, I tried to flash r20 and then flash easy esp r39 but still get the same results.

I would really like to get it to work because I use SI7021 sensors which are not included in r20 release.

Hi,
I do not know why this happens, but I had the same issue today.
Did you hit the reset button?
I solved it by first flashing 20, then 30 then 39. That worked. In 30 I also entered network address and devices.

I figured out how to download r30 finally But thank you for the link.

INIT : Booting Build nr:39
WIFI : Connecting...
WIFI : No SSID!
INIT : I2C
INIT : Boot OK
INIT : Normal boot

Updating from r20 to r30 to r39 worked like a charm! Thanks for the suggestion. Does anyone have an idea why r39 doesn't work when uploaded to brand new nodemcu 1.0 board? Is there a way to edit the code so I could flash r39 without having to upgrade to 2 previous versions of easy esp?

Seems to be a problem for just a couple of people not sure why?
But i now just do as you have and install v30 then v38.

Unfortunately I had the same problem with R39 on brand new ModeMcu 1.0 (but the upgrade path via R20 & R30 also worked for me).
