IR read/write head TTL for electricity meters
Does anyone have experience if you can use esp easy instead of tasmota and if so how long the cable length between read head and esp can be to keep a clean signal for the esp?

I have already read my gas meter using an espeasy ESP_Easy_mega_20221224_normal_ESP8266_4M1M_VCC.
I would like to add the Q3AA1174 electricity meter there eg. like this

ESP_Easy_mega_20221224_normal_ESP8266_4M1M_VCC should work fine for your application. Just ensure that it supports the necessary communication protocols and configurations for reading the Q3AA1174 electricity meter.
