ESPEasy has a Modbus controller. It can help establish communication if you enable the Modbus protocol.

But there is no 'generic modbus' plugin.

It does look a bit like the PZEM units, but since it seems to be a specific project, it might use just about any protocol.
You could however try to see if the PZEM plugin can get _some_ readings. If so, then we might have a good starting point to add support for it.
