Somfy RTS: Firmware - regression with Eolis 3D ?

Hi all,
I have a Somfy Eolis 3D WireFree RTS wind detector that I've been using for a few years.
It sends out a regular "ping " (every ~18min 30s) when there's no wind, plus an immediate message when there is wind.

With the older RFLink firmware from 2017, it worked - although both pings and immediate messages were indistinguishable from each other (both received as STOP commands) so it required some time-based logic in Home Assistant to tell them apart. But it worked.

But with the latest RFLink firmware 1.51, when wind is detected, absolutely nothing is received from RFLink. And absolutely nothing is logged (on [rflink.protocol]).

HOWEVER the periodic ping is still received, as follows (Home Assistant RFLink debug logs):

So to summarize it:
* The "beacon" vs "wind" signals are obviously different
* In 2017 firmwares RFLink reports both, but they are exposed identically
* In 2024 firmware RFLink only reports "beacon" and not "wind".

Is this a known regression with recent firmwares? (I only tried 1.51 so far).

I followed the instructions and enabled these options:
* Serial Port Logging
* Log Mode: Debug
* Log Mode: Unhandled (as a bonus)

With this, I have successfully captured the periodic beacon from the device:

I don't see any DEBUG;Pulses.
And also, when shaking the device (to simulate wind) I get absolutely nothing in RFLink.

Ok, so for me:
* firmware 1.51 (with bundled RFLink Loader) do *not* display the Pulses info for RTS
* firmware 1.50 (with bundled RFLink Loader) do *not* display the Pulses info for RTS
* firmware 1.48 (with bundled RFLink Loader) properly displays the Pulses info for RTS

So I went back to firmware 1.48 and captured the Pulses info for the beacons (spaced by ~ 18 minutes):

Did you get a chance to look into the debug logs that I posted? Hopefully this will allow to recognize the "wind" messages from the regular "beacon" ones...

Hi,

the Eolis 3D seems to behave identical with a "Soliris sensor RTS". The RTS packet uses the command 0xE (Sensor) and should then be interpreted differently. The rolling code field is not used as such, but contains the current status. Bit 15 set (value 0001) indicates WIND present, bit 14 (value 0002) indicates SUN present. With no bits set, the message is not a "beacon", it represents the current status, ie. no WIND and no SUN.

The current firmware decodes the ID incorrect, by adding 0x1000000. And interprets the command incorrect, as STOP rather then SENSOR.
