R50 version string?

#1 Post by padrino » 06 Jan 2024, 02:52

Hi,

news about R50 was just like the Spanish inquisition. 8)

Great to see the new version, though I almost missed it. =)

I wonder, was the version string changed?
Cause, even after the flashing the iobroker adapter I use still shows R48...

CU,
padrino

PS: I sent debug logs years ago and never got a reply, it seems they where not implemented.
Though I never got any further questions, as I would have loved to assist, if there was trouble...

The Version text indeed changed:
20;00;Nodo RadioFrequencyLink - RFLink Gateway V1.1 - R50

Version 51 is planned as well.
I will check if I can make a link between your forum username and an email to see what you mailed and if I can implement it asap..

:D

Yeah, that sounds like me. ;)

There should also be a mail, about a "special device" from "rf-tech", which somehow is changing brands/devicename in rflink depending on (three) differnt temperatur ranges... quite excotic thing.

Well, after those years, the bbq thermometer would probably my biggest wish.

If it helps, you can always contact me via email, I will be happy to assist.

Thanks for looking into this.
