HTTPS secure communications

This may be a dumb question but i cannot find an answer to it. Does ESP easy on an ESP32 platform support HTTPS SSL?

Work has been started on implementing TLS for MQTT connections, with a possible (likely) 'fall-out' of having generic HTTPS support for current HTTP controllers and the web server. Considerations and limitations are discussed in that PR.
