Hello,
thanks for this great RFLink project!
I try to do the best to improve the RF reception of the RXB6. As a general experience with RF receivers I try to isolate the power supply of RF components from computers as much as possible. A very easy and cheap way is to use a seperate power supply. So I would use an additional voltage controller for the RX8B.
In the reference schematics the RXB6 is powered by using MEGA's tx2/Pin 16 ["Pin 5 = MEGA tx2/Pin 16 (RX VCC)"].
Does this pin (MEGA's tx2/Pin 16) deliver a static output or is it switched in this application?
If it would be switched I could connect the RX8B Pin5 to a different power supply.
Thanks in advance!
Direct powering of RXB6 possible?

Re: Direct powering of RXB6 possible?
The normal operation is that the RFlink code cuts power from the receiver and powers up the transmitter when it is transmitting signals over RF.
However, you can also power the receiver directly and permanently.

Re: Direct powering of RXB6 possible?
Thanks for your answer, that is great. As long as I use a receive only mode I can power the receiver permanently without any issues. When using the transitter also I have to consider to use an additional switch.
