It looks like my ESP devices are not safe anymore but a newer firmware is not there.
Would it be a good idea to load the not official V2.0 and does that have the KRACK fixed?
Am i the only one who is worried here? Or did i not read well the information somewhere?

I'm equally worried. But there seems to be issues with the library containing the fix for KRACK. Don't know how platforms like espurna & tasmota (both claim they have implemented the fix) deal with this.

The KRACK issue is not (yet) that big a deal, since it is quite difficult to exploit.
It's more of a problem for environments that could be a specific target, like public hotspots.
So unless you've got a very experienced kid in the neighborhood who's planning to do some bad things to your network, I would not be too worried.

The Wiki says 2018 Q1 for V2.0 so thats by the end of this month i guess.
But does the V2.0 have the KRACK fixed?

Nope, since 2.0 will be based on Arduino ESP8266 core 2.3.0, which doesn't have KRACK fixed.
The 2.4.0 core still has some stability issues.
