ESPeasy Mega 2.0 over Sonoff POW

#1 Post by grhhm » 04 Mar 2018, 21:15

Hi,

Is anybody amanged to run EspEasy Mega on Sonoff POW?
Let's share info about its usage and configuration.

I loaded ESP_Easy_v2.0-20180304b_normal into Sonoff POW.
By HW schematics:
I2C SCL = GPIO14.
I2C SDA = GPIO13.
Relay + red LED = GPIO12, active high.
Blue LED = GPIO15, active high.
Volt/Watt selector = GPIO5.
Button - GPIO0, active low.

It seems I have read schematics wrongly: I2C scan can't find the power meter chip.
Any success someone?

the power meter chip of POW (HLW8012) is not I2C but uses a proprietary communication.
I've written a specific plugins but it has some issues to compile in the GitHUB while it works in my PC; as no time to deep dive I think it was moved to version 2.1 to have it sorted out.
