Hi Guys
I'm looking for Record and display information coming from my Solid-state hour meters on my heating system, In order to accumulate elapsed time one relay is switched on and fall off when no activity.
I successfully use switch input for get the signal but now I'm stuck now for made the conversion in counter hours:minutes and send this information to Domoticz.
Any clue ?
Regards
Vic

Re: Solid-state hour meters
Hello,
i'm not using domoticz, i just have an idea.
ESPEasy is not memory persistent at all so counters in the ESP-chip are lost on a power failure or reboot.
On top it isn't that easy to make ESPEasy count time without writing a plugin for that.
So if possible i'd just let the ESP send "on/off" state and let the computer with domoticz do the Job
if that is possible at all
I'm using FHEM and it's possible there by including your own perl code or external routines.
It's possible to save the values every x minutes to a file this way too, so it is not lost when rebooting for any reason.

Tks Shardan for the quick reply, I "ll look for scripting in domoticz as you suggest, seems to be the easy way.
