esp8266 newbie problems
Just loaded espeasy using the ide it starts fine, but showss nossid even though i set it in the sketch. am i missing something?
Re: esp8266 newbie problems
Figured that out. Now I cannot get domoticz to connect. The instructions I saw were to create a a dummy switch in domoticz, and use that ID in the espeasy setup page. I have done that, but domoticz still thinks I have a switch.
Also tried as a temp/humid sensor, and it sticks at 32 degrees F.

Dummy hardware device is ok, but you have to create dummy sensors by clicking in the hardware tab on 'create dummy sensor', then you can choose the correct sensor.
The IDX from that sensor (in tab devices) should be used in ESPEasy.
Located in Belgium, Bruges. Working on a full DIY domoticz setup with ESPEasy.

Re: esp8266 newbie problems
Hi jimd,
you're using the wrong value (14065) for IDX. This is an internal value used by Domoticz (named ID on top of column).
You have to use the IDX value (second column), which in your case is 21.
It should work, now...

ESPEasy running on ESP-12F self-made modules (with various sensors) and talking to Domoticz (hosted on RPi2)
