How tu acivate / use P54 - DMX plugin

#1 Post by kr0815 » 08 Apr 2018, 23:21

I want to try out the DMX plugin, but how to activate it?
It´s that one:
https://github.com/letscontrolit/ESPEas ... DMX512.ino

As i understand, it´s a regular plugin already included in the main branch?

Is there a way to check which plugins are available in a flashed version?
I could see installed "input" devices in Device section, but how to see / activate available "output" devices?

Thanks

Klaus

The official list of plugins is here.
The one you are interested in is under test, so you need to flash your module with a test binary.
You can also see output devices in the Device section, for example LCD.

Hi,
I'm testing DMX,
It works for me on the Wemos D1 board.
It doesn't work for me on the WT32 board.

But if on WT32, for example, send a PWM command
http: // IP / control? cmd = PWM, 2.50
so on GPIO I have a PWM signal.

But DMX does not generate.

I use
ESP_Easy_mega_20211224_test_A_ESP8266_4M1M.bin
a
ESP_Easy_mega_20211224_test_A_ESP32_4M316k.bin

Also tested on ESP32 WROOM
it also doesn't work.
When I put the Oscilloscope there, I see some short signal about 10Hz.

Edit:
Wemos D1 signal
