RFLink and CC2500

#1 Post by seaside » 08 Oct 2018, 23:35

Hi!

I've been trying to get a CC2500 work together with RFLink but without success.
Was hoping to get some input here, and hopefully get it working.

The Rflink itself seems to work fine with 433, I'm using domoticz to control it.

I've been following the wiring: http://www.rflink.nl/blog2/wiring

Hardware is one CC2500 SI4432 : https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B0101Y6TSQ
Also looked at this: https://easyeda.com/mbroek/RFLink-b3d9d ... 2f36350ba1
Howeve I have no pullup resistor or capacitor (could this be an issue?)

Levelshifter: Sharplace 8 Channel Logic Level Converter Logic Level Converter Bi-Directional Module for Arduino
https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B076H1 ... UTF8&psc=1

On CC2500
VCC -> 3.3 V on MEGA
SI -> D51 (via levelshifter to 3.3V)
SCLK -> D52 (via levelshifter to 3.3V)
SO -> D50 (via levelshifter to 3.3V)
GD02 -> Not connected
GND -> Mega GND
G003 -> Not connected
Csn ->D47 (Via levelshifter to 3.3V)

PIN6 on MEGA to Ground on MEGA
D48, D49 is connected to levelshifter but not connected to anything on the CC2500 (Milight I assume)

I'm not sure asnluta is enabled. I have a hard time finding information how to work with rflink.

I'll try to earse eprom, flash the firmware again having Pin6 grounded (not sure I did the first time).

Is there anything else I need to do in order to enable ANSLUTA?

Thanks in advance.

You need to enable ansluta.. if it detects the cc2500 all is fine, if it gives an error message then the cc2500 is not responding as expected.
Enabling is done with the rflink loader..

Hi!

Thanks for pointer. After resting and using loader I got it to work.
I was using avrdude in Linux that is why I didn't see the ANSLUTA enable options.
