(Solved)hard to access user interface

Can somebody explain why it is so difficult to get connected to the user menu of an ESPeasy node. I use the latest firmware on a esp 8266. I am using a Windows 10 laptop for accessing. Al browsers show the same difficult acess (IE, Edge, Firefox and Brave). Hope to hear if anyone has a solution.

That is what I did, copied it in the latest release (20210802) bin folder, strted the flasher and selected the .bin you send to me. Finished succefull but as soon as I want to add the MP3 device, it is not in the list. Any idea or what am I doing wrong.

Thanks foor the reply but what I wanted is that I have 2 moments in time, say 13:00 and 17:00. On those moments I want to start the timer but only is the Holiday switch is active and if not active, It will not start the timer.

The MP3 is working perfectly using the "normal control options mentioned in the WIKI. A nice, missing function, would be the option to put the volume and the Play number in a rule. Bur for now I m happy with it and thiefs are welcome with the sound of barking agressieve dogs. :lol:

I use the keypad relay, so the donglesare stored in your keypad and if the correct dongle is used, the relay in the keypad is activated. Use that signal for your ESP.

I have such a keyboard in use already for serveral years and works great. If you use the same power sourse for both the keyboard and your Arduino devive, you can use the "-(minus)"of the relay on the keyboard PCB.

this is all above my level of knowledge. Probably I use Variables for now to monitor the mp3's already played and that the new play not start Always with the same mp3. This is part of my alarm system (barking dog) and you do not want to start with the same mp3 but "randomly".

I've tested the new command MODE as described in your previous answere. The PLAY option is working but the MODE,3 without the "control?cmd=" (http://xxx.xxx.x.xx/mode,3) is not working for now. Probably I have to wait for the final version of the plug-in.

The message is now visible in the log.
Was trying other settings, in Tools/Advanced Settings/Rules Sttings I selected "Old Engine". That solved the Timer issue. Now it works but I do not like I do not know WHY!!!.
I hope you can explain.

Good point, to reduice the margin of error I deactivated the HTTP connection. I use Domomticz, where I use a switch for a manual mode (during a holiday. it is not the model you asked for but have 2 Asus tr-ac5300 as a Aimesh netwerk and works very stable already for years both for DOMTICZ and ESPEASY.

no there isn't a 'generalswitch' task. What I read in the wiki is that it is possible to use this kind of rule. Wrong intepretation. So what si the approch for me, do you have an example for me how to het this working?

Forgot to mention, tried that password as well withou any positive result. Just unpacked my last NodeMCU, loaded the 1 Mb blank and after that the normal 1 Mb (the one 20201003) no better result.

Tested again tris morning. a brand new NodeMCU and a D1 both the same result, Password 'espconfig' incorrect. Because they are brand new, corrupte memory could not be the reason.

Unfortunately the sam result. What I did: New MCU Blank_4Mb, after finishing loaded a blank_1Mb, after finishing loaded the normal_8266_1Mb. Also tried blaNK_ 4Mb and after that the normal_8266_1Mb. Same as previous but than all with the 4Mb version. All the sam results

What I did with my Nodemcu, It was an already in use MCU, loaded the "blank 1 MB" option, after finish loading (without reseting), loaded the "Normal_esp8266_iM.bin". Finished loading, disconneted the module, connect to ESPWIFI en get the password request. That is what I did.

Sorry but did not work for me. Still get the message "wrong password". Tried a 2nd NodeMCU but same result. Found a temporay solution, I loaded a Dec2018 version and was able to connect without a wifi password. I can continue for now but if one of you have any suggestions, pls let me know.
