Anyway the old system was not supporting tls for email so quite useless by these days
I will transfer this job to my Domoticz
May be yo can also consider system like Pushover , may be simpler to implement but far away of my knoledge

I wonder if it would be possible to check internet connectivty with EspEasy ? with a kind of ping 8.8.8.8 for example
Not only that ESP is connected to a wifi network but it also communicate
Any idea is welcome
