Thanks. I have actually taken the easy route on my S20 and have avoided headers, soldering etc. to get custom firmware flashed on it. I tried that but it does not come off. Do you think the Ground pin of the plug is actually soldered on to the PCB. See here:

Sonoff S20 v1.3 Header
The latest version 1.3 of the Sonoff S20 US does not have any way to remove the PCB for soldering a header to be able flash the device with ESP Easy. See pic at this link: https://imgur.com/a/Inn1A
