Re: Hall sensor and ESP32

First of all: Apart from safety considerations, here in Germany the "TÜV" would withdraw the license for road traffic at the next main inspection because of an "inadmissible technical change". Regarding the technical aspect: The description of the linear motor clearly states that...

Re: sccripts stoppen met werken na ongeveer 24 uur

Hi, at the beginning with Domoticz and RFLink I also had the problem that the RFLink reception stopped for no reason. After setting the "Data-dependent timer" to 5 minutes, RFLink reception works without any problems. Pay attention to a meaningful time specification, I receive data telegra...

Truncate decimals without rounding

I am looking for a function / rule which cuts off the decimals from a number without rounding

Code: Select all

Let,1,[BME280#Temp]
NeopixelLine,[int#1#D0],30,10,10,10
Temp = 8.3 it shows 8 --> OK
Temp = 8.7 it shows 9 ??

Re: NeoPixelLine ??

Thank you for your many hints. It was actually my own fault. LED count was at 1 :oops: A level converter was not necessary as long as I didn't put a resistor in the signal line to the Neopixel ring. Now everything works and all only needs a home. If someone is also interested in CO2 measurement, her...

CO2-measurement with MH-Z19b / Neopixel / 7 segment display

I am currently trying to build a CO2 display with a neopixel ring. However, the display does not work so far because I can only find insufficient information about the NeoPixelLine command: https://www.letscontrolit.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=7991&p=47186 NeoPixelLine 1,4,0,255,0 the first 4 pixe...

Re: Fill all dummy sensor entries in one json

I think that it is not solution of my problem. In my case, ESP sends to Domoticz SendToHTTP request. This cause "push" of virtual button. LUA script associated with this button takes from Domoticz DB 8 parameters and sends one by one (via WGET HTTP) to ESP, placing them in the individual ...

Re: Wemos MotorShield V1.0 NO i2c-adress

You don't need an ST-Link programmer, just the program stm32flash and the new motor_shield.bin firmware and an USB2TTL adapter. You may have the same problem that I had at first. The instructions for changing the firmware are not complete. It is described that before programming "Short the RTS ...

Thanks for the "thinking help". Now everything works again without loop: Domoticz action on: http://192.168.178.81/control?cmd=event,luefterein action off: http://192.168.178.81/control?cmd=event,luefteraus EspEasy Send to controller: disabled on this device Rules: On System#Boot do PCFGPI...

Re: Since update endless feedback loop of a switching command between ESP EASY and Domoticz

Again, the same result. It makes no difference whether the status is sent directly from the EspEasy device or Publish Command. Again, Domoticz responds with endless repeating this command. In the meantime I believe that´s not a mistake but a feature which only did not occur with the old version mega...

Re: Since update endless feedback loop of a switching command between ESP EASY and Domoticz

That would eliminate my feedback problem, but then I would lose the status display of the fan in Domoticz.

Currently I am solving the feedback problem by deleting the on/off actions in Domoticz. But now the manual control of the fan is not possible.

Solved! Since update endless feedback loop of a switching command between ESP EASY and Domoticz

In our laundry drying room in the basement i have an automatic control of the fan with a sensor (BME280). This is done by a rule in ESP EASY, which turns on a fan automatically when the humidity is above 49%. This switch state of this fan is visible on Domoticz and the fan could be switched also ove...

Re: Problem with two "generic pulse counter"

OK, I measure the flowrate alternately. With a small relay, I turn each 1 flow sensor on the input GPIO14/D5 - problem solved :)

Re: Problem with two "generic pulse counter"

In each case only that flow sensor shows correct values which is connected to GPIO14/D5. At the expected water flowrate up to 50 liters/min there should be a pulse rate of 288 Hz - Pulse (Hz) = [4,8 * Flowrate Q (liter/min)]. On GPIO14/D5 this works fine, but GPIO13/D7 or GPIO12/D6 only counts a fra...

Problem with two "generic pulse counter"

I'm trying to automate the heating control of our pool. When connecting two flow sensors there is currently a problem because the measured value of one of the flow sensors is inconsistent or incorrect. The first sensor connected to GPIO14/D5 works. The second sensor which is connected to GPIO13/D7 s...

Second LCD display does not work

I bought a second LCD display. The old display 2x16 works fine with i2c address 0x27. The new display 4x20 with i2c address 0x3f works alone properly. However, when I try to connect both displays together, the display 4x20 shows nothing and the display 2x16 jumps and tries (unsuccessfully) to displa...
